She was predeceased by: her parents, Tillman Green and Ellen Green (Robinson); her grandparents, Charlie, Rachel Robinson (Pinkerton), Abram and Mattie Green (Greene); and her sons, Shannon Green (Quasim) and Taurice "Reese" Green.

She is survived by: her children, Carlesha Halkias (Michael Halkias), Tashema Hightower, Dontrey Cornish and Dontisha Cornish; her husband James McCalister; her siblings, Evelyn and Robert Green; and her nephew Sheldon Green. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
