She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph Gaverick; her parents, William McCarty and Kathryn McCarty (Hacker); her siblings, Bessie Litzenberger, Shirley Fritz and Jack McCarty; and her grandson Christopher Schneider.
She is survived by: her children, Patricia A. Breidegam of Mount Penn, PA, Linda L. (Kenneth Schneider), Exter Twp, Barry (Carol Shipper) of Temple, PA and Ronald "Joe" (Beth Shipper) of Reading, PA; her grandchildren, Kerry, Melissa, Sean, Nicole and Sara; and her great grandchildren, Alyssa, Emily, Colt, Talon and Alexandra.
Viewing will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Cramp Hummel Funeral Home (934 Centre Ave, Reading, PA 19601). A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
