He was predeceased by: his parents, Ilie Recalo and Ana Recalo (Clipei). He is survived by: his spouse Matrona Recalo; his children, Ilie Recalo, Jr. (Florica Recalo) of Georgia, Stefan Recalo (Hafia Recalo), John Recalo (Irina Recalo) of Georgia, Ana Popovici (Petru Popovici) of Reading and Mariana Beuca (Dumitru Beuca) of Wernersville; and his siblings, Vasile, Dumitru, Ana and Stefan. He is also survived by his 14 grandchildren.
