It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gloria Talford of Reading, Pennsylvania, born in Lancaster, South Carolina, who passed away on September 20, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her children, Tyrone (Samantha), Carla (Michael), Jeffery (late Robin Lowery) and Eric (Julian); her siblings, Richard Lowery (Carol Ann), Michael Lowery (Marion), Fred Lowery (Matlene), Charles Lowery, Joan Lowery and Rosalyn Lowery; her grandchildren, Kevin, Jamal, Denicia, Monique, Alexis, Cornelius, Liana, Lemar, Eric M., Cassandra, Brianna, Uneke of LeAira, JJ, Cartier, Jordon, TaCari, Jaysa and CJ; her daughter-in-law Stephanie Talford (late Cornell Talford Jr.); her goddaughter Shalanda Martin; her close friends, Carlette Black, Carmelo Morales and Corrine Willis; and her grandchildren, CassandraGrandchild, BriannaGrandchild, UnekeGrandchild, LeAiraGrandchildJJGrandchild, CartierGrandchild, JordonGrandchild, TaCariGrandchild, JaysaGrandchildCJGrandchild, Shalanda MartinGoddaughter, Carlette BlackSpecial Friend, Carmelo MoralesSpecial Friend and Corrine WillisSpecial Friend. She is also survived by 26 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews.
Viewing will be held on Monday, September 30th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Wyomissing Church of the Brethren (220 State Hill Rd., Wyomissing, PA 19610). A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 30th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
