She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl B. Emerick and Eliza Jane Emerick (Craze); her husband Edward L. Painter; and her siblings, Earl, Jr., Dorothy Fix, Frances Bergman, Leon, David, Paul and Caroline Emerick.

She is survived by: her daughter Colleen; her siblings, Helen Rhoads of Brandon, FL, Mary Jane Ohlinger and James (Etta Emerick) of Lutherville, MD; and her pets, Cody and Sasha. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
