He is survived by: his wife Lora Alfiero (Miller); his children, Tara Alfiero and Erik Alfiero (Grace-Ann); his granddaughter Amelia Alfiero; his brother Kenneth Alfiero (Joan); and his sister-in-law Josie Alfiero.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society Hope Lodge: Hope Lodge Philadelphia.
