He was predeceased by : his parents, George B. Loughery, Jr. and Eleanor Kent Loughery (Pallatt). He is survived by : his children, George B. Loughery, IV (Sylvia C.) of Reading, Robert A. Loughery (Patti A.) of Birdsboro and Beverly S. Loughery of Orlando, FL.; his grandchildren, Eleanor C. Howey, Cristina M. Loughery, Ana L. Ferson, Thomas S. Loughery and Kelly J. Loughery; his great grandchild James R. Howey; and his brothers, Kent A. Loughery of Revere, PA and Geoffrey A. (Rita Loughery).

Visitation was held on Monday, June 24th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Laureldale Cemetery Chapel (4631 Pottsville Pike, Reading, PA 19605). A funeral service was held on Monday, June 24th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A committal service was held on Monday, June 24th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Laureldale Cemetery (4631 Pottsville Pike, Reading, PA 19605).
