He is survived by: his wife Janet F. Machmer (Unterkofler); his children, Forrest C. Machmer, Shirley I. (Daniel Berger) and Brenda M. Machmer; his grandchildren, Timothy, Valerie, Christine and Bradley; and his sisters, Ruth Marko (Machmer), Mary Jane Quillman (Machmer), Evelyn T. Hoppes (Machmer) and Tilden Twp.

Viewing was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc. (223 Peach St, Leesport, PA 19533). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
