He was predeceased by: his parents, Alice Grinnage Brown and Beverly Brown; his daughter Sheila Grinnage; and his grandchildren, Darnell Hayes and Precious Johnstone.
He is survived by: his significant other Bertha Battle of Margaret's Church; and his children, Jeffrey L. Grinnage (Donna Grinnage) and Joy Alexander (Wesley Alexander).
