He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy C. Schleaffer (Ott) and Robert D. MacRae. He is survived by: his wife Shadow; his children, Shelia and Donald MacRae, Jr.; his siblings, Dorothy Moyer and David MacRae; and his niece Lisa Moyer. He is also survived by several other nieces and nephews.
