He was predeceased by: his parents, Pasquale DeMaio and Theresa DeMaio (Tommasino); and his brother Patrick N. DeMaio. He is survived by: his wife Margaret DeMaio (Gooding); his children, Cheryl T. DeMaio Shalgian (Christian D. Shalgian) of Germantown, Maryland and Michael R. DeMaio of Wilmington; and his grandchildren, Margie, Peter, Julie and Ellie.
