With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charlene A. Maddux of Reading, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 26, 2023 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Gladys I. Reifsnyder (Kerns) and Charles S. Reifsnyder; her husband James Maddux; and her siblings, Mildred Myers, Sherwood Reifsnyder, Clair Shell and Charles Reifsnyder.

She is survived by: her children, Denise A. Maddux, Christine A. Kurtz and Barry Kurtz; and her brothers, Ronald Kerns and Franklin Reifsnyder. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
