With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carl E. Messner of Reading, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 5, 2023 at the age of 55. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his parents, Amber Kay Althouse and Robert C. Althouse; his close friend Alyssa A. Hummel; and his siblings, Michelle Maxwell (Jason Maxwell) of Birdsboro, Dale Althouse (Allison Althouse) of Richland and Robert W. Althouse of Stouchsburg. He is also survived by numerous Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Animal Rescue League, 58 Kennel Rd., Birdsboro, PA 19508.
