He was predeceased by: his parent James H. Welch; and his siblings, Harold J. Welch, John T. Welch and Gladys Welch. He is survived by: his parent Violet M. Welch (Thomas); his spouse Ruth F. Welch (Seyfert); his stepsons, Hugh C. McCullough and Gregory B. McCullough; his stepgrandchildren, Rachel Zamora (Joe), Matthew M. McCullough, Stephanie Greenawalt (Adam), Michael McCullough and Jodi Miller (Thomas); and his stepgreat-granddaughter Hadlee Miller.
