He was predeceased by: his parent Howard J. Katz. He is survived by: his spouse Patricia A. Katz (Witman); his parent Evelyn D. Katz (Wolf); and his children, Jay M. Katz of Seaford, Joel M. Katz of Mars Hill, Maine and Joy M. Steckel (Katz) of Bel-Air, Maryland. He is also survived by six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
