He is survived by: his spouse Betty Eckert (Beck); his parent Katie Eckert (Faust); his children, Gary (Lesa) of Temple and Gayle Hendel; and his siblings, Irvin, Carl, Betty, Meryl and Pearl. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
