He was predeceased by: his parent Confesor Betancourt; and his siblings, Rosa, Rosendo, Luis and Celso.
He is survived by: his spouse Angelica Betancourt (Fuentes); his parent Elisa Betancourt (Colon); his children, Carmen (Blandon), Betzaida (Reading) and Paul (Reading); his siblings, Emerito, Dolores, Ida Elis, Ofelia, Confesor Jr., Manolo and Pastor; and his grandchildren, Diana L. Vojtasek, Michelle Sallee, Eric L. Colon, Steven A. Colon, Christian P. Betancourt and Mia F. Betancourt.
