He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas A. Zimmerman and Matilda Zimmerman (Hoholka); his stepmother Verna Zimmerman; his wife Joann Hansel; his daughters, Denise Zimmerman and Diana Zimmerman Latosky; and his grandson Brice Love.
He is survived by: his children, Thomas J. Zimmerman (Maryann) of Houtzdale, Mark R. Zimmerman of Johnsonburg, Renee Murarik (John) of Houtzdale and Lori Love (Scott) of Houtzdale; his sisters, Clarissa Semlar of Philipsburg and E. Pearl Touster; his grandchildren, Darren, Brandon, Shane Murarik, Taylor Murarik Schall, Courtney Latosky, Katilin Walker, Jenny Vercher, Joseph, James Zimmerman, Jacob, Justin, Brock and Annie Love; his great grandchildren, Madilynn Walker, Scarlett Murarik, Jozie Shaw, Kaidon Murarik, Conner Zimmerman, Charlotte Walker, Jett Schall, Holden Murarik, Rhett Vercher and Ava Love; and his son-in-law Jerome Latosky. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
