She was predeceased by: her parents, James Herman and Martha Herman (Brendt); her husband Charles E. Ruffing, Sr.; her children, Florence Ruffing and James Ruffing; and her siblings, Evelyn Fryer, Dorothy Herman, James Herman and Robert Herman.
She is survived by: her children, Louise Prevost of Charleston, SC, Brenda Ricketts (Bryan) of Utahville, PA, Charles E. Ruffing, Jr. of Ramey, PA, John R. Ruffing of Ramey, PA and Billy Joe Ruffing of Ramey, PA; her siblings, Betty Krause (James) of Ramey, PA, Anna Mae Herman of Philipsburg, PA and Sherman Herman (Donna) of Osceola Mills, PA; her grandchildren, David Prevost, Patty Prevost, Jason Guthrie and Crystal Herman; and her great grandchildren, Nina Walk and Jeanie Walk.
