With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley A. Welty of Quincy, Pennsylvania, born in Harpers Ferry, West Virginia, who passed away on July 6, 2020 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard L. Ware and Emma N. Ware (Crum); her husband John A. Welty, Jr.; and her sister Dorothy I. Ware. She is survived by: her children, John A. Welty, III (Vicki) of Waynesboro, P. Michael Welty of Carlisle, PA and Contessa A. "Connie" Simmers (Dwayne) of Waynesboro; and her siblings, Mary E. Light of Summit Point, WV, Howard L. Ware of Delaware and Page W. Ware of Idaho. She is also survived by five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
