He was predeceased by: his parent Clarence R.; his wife Clover M. Pentz (Mentzer); and his brothers, Harold Pentz and Donald Pentz. He is survived by: his parent Mabel R. Pentz (Bakner); his children, Richard E. Pentz of Connecticut and Lori Christie of Venice, FL; his stepchildren, Vanessa D. Bender of Fort Wayne, IN, Susan M. Ziegler of Waynesboro and Timothy A. Scott of Union, NJ; and his grandchild Scott A. Ziegler. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
