She was predeceased by: her parents, J. Marshall "Smitty" and Phyllis Marguerite Smith (Heffner). She is survived by: her husband James C. Shindle; her sons, Rick A. Shindle of Waynesboro, PA and Randy L. Shindle of Gainsville, FL; and her brother Larry A. Smith of Fayetteville, NC. She is also survived by one aunt; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
