Phyllis Jean (Price) Hammaker Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Phyllis Jean (Price) Hammaker of Quincy, Pennsylvania, born in Altoona, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 23, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry B. Price and Maude A. Price (Hall); her husband William K. Hammaker; and her siblings, Lois Piper, Shirley Pekar, Wayne Price, Robert Price, Leonard Price and Sheldon Price.
She is survived by: her children, Dennis Hammaker (Carol), Carol Jordan (Daniel), David Hammaker (Barbara) and Steve Hammaker (Margaret); her grandchildren, Daniel Hammaker (Whitney), Andrew Hammaker (Krista), Matthew Hammaker (Miranda), David Hammaker (Kimberly), Benjamin Hammaker (Kimberly) and Rachel Hammaker; her great grandchildren, Lynlee, Henry, Trace, Jonathan and Theodore; and her sister Marilyn Means. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 28th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Waynesboro Church of the Brethren (117 S Church St, Waynesboro, PA 17268). A funeral service was held on Monday, October 28th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
