With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mildred L. McCleary of Quincy, Pennsylvania, born in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 27, 2024 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert P. McSherry and Anna Grace McSherry (Rickrode); her husband John F. McCleary of Mary's Catholic Church; her daughter Cynthia L. "Cindy" Smith; and her siblings, Darlene Hoover and Dr. Glenn Fancy.
She is survived by: her daughters, Debbie Licklider of Stephens City, VA, Joani Hartman of Germantown, MD and Tami Bitner of Hummelstown, PA. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
