She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Franklin and Julia Elizabeth Bowman (McElrath); her husband Col. Herman Ertlschweiger; her grandson Matthew Ertlschweiger; and her siblings, Carlyn Grenther, Carl Bowman and Thomas Bowman.
She is survived by: her children, Elizabeth Anna Stark (Lee) of Carlsbad, CA, John Thomas Ertlschweiger (Beverlea) of Southport, NC and Herman "Hap" Ertlschweiger, Jr. (Sandra) of Valdosta, GA; and her sister Julianna Kersting of Somerville, NJ. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.
