It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jean M. Sweeney of Quincy, Pennsylvania, born in Baltimore, Maryland, who passed away on November 28, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur O. Peters and Pauline C. Peters (Funk); her husband Robert R. "Bob" Sweeney; her stepdaughter Patricia L. Sweeney; and her sisters, Paula Anne Peters and Joyce E. Wise.
She is survived by: her stepdaughter Deborah K. Sweeney of Chambersburg, PA; her siblings, Martha L. Doucha of Waynesboro, Miriam A. Ford of Loveland, CO, Anne C. Wood of Roanoke, VA, Michael O. Peters of Santa Rosa, CA and John C. Peters of Gilroy, CA; and her nieces and nephews, Heather Cuellar, Brian Doucha, Adam Peters, Monica Peters, Orion Peters, Stephen Leach and Dane Wood. She is also survived by two step-grandchildren; several step-great-grandchildren.
