She was predeceased by: her parents, William E. Shew and S. Lucille Shew (Helman); her husband Charles W. Reese; her son Larry G. Reese; her grandson Stephen Burkett; and her siblings, Betty M. Minnich, Helen L. Minnich and William M. Shew.

She is survived by: her children, Donna F. Burkett of Greencastle and Daryl C. Reese (Tina) of Greencastle, PA. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren; thirty-two great-grandchildren, fourteen great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
