It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Eugene Wingert in Quincy, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 1, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Myers Wingert and Mary Belle Keller; his wife Betty Pittman Wingert; his son Randy Wingert; and his sister Janet Unger.
He is survived by: his children, Carol Wingert Horn, Teresa Wingert Chrencik (Mark) and Jere Wingert (Carol); his grandchildren, Andrea, Kate, Eric, Sarah, Matthew, Nicholas and Samuel; and his great grandchildren, Kieran, Kailey, Xavier, Hattie, Jack, Theodore, Henry and Lucy.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Gene's name to Mt. Parnell Lions Club, 7398 Hawk Road, Mercersburg, PA 17236 or to Quincy Village Benevolent Fund, 6596 Orphanage Road Waynesboro, PA 17268.
