He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul William and Florence Schmitt Theimer; and his siblings, Mary, Peck and Greg Theimer.

He is survived by: his children, Dennis Zeis (Susan) of St. Thomas, PA, Richard Theimer (Susan) of Texas, Kandi Kirchner (Randy) of Chambersburg, PA, Christine Livingston (Deric) of Chambersburg, PA, Rhonda Theimer of Scotland, PA, Heather Kauffman (Douglas) of Shippensburg, PA, Jonathan Theimer of Kansas and Danielle Gordon of Chambersburg, PA; and his siblings, Paul Theimer, Jr., Ken Theimer, Kathy Wilquet and Allan Theimer.
