He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Clever and Margaret Clever (Fitz); and his siblings, Betty Jenkins, Lee Clever, Carl Clever, Beverly Grove and Herman Clever.
He is survived by: his wife Anna Clever (Rowe); his children, Dale Clever, Jr. of Waynesboro, Mike Clever of Waynesboro and Candi Saxmann of Ocean City, MD; and his siblings, Terry Clever of Hagerstown, MD, Jerry Clever (Liane) of Chambersburg, PA and Paula Grove (Dick) of Clear Spring, MD. He is also survived by three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
