He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles L. Shockey and Margie B. Shockey (Miller); his wife Sonja Lee Shockey (Fix); his son-in-law Ed Kayhoe; and his sisters, Thelma Rouzer, Donna Rouzer, Gladys Weddle and Bessie Socks.
He is survived by: his children, Brenda L. Kayhoe of Rouzerville, Sherry L. Geesaman (Kelly) of Rouzerville, Charles L. Shockey (Patricia) of Chambersburg, Gary L. Shockey (April) of Greencastle and Teresa A. Hind (Tom) of Waynesboro; and his sister Doris Martz of Hagerstown. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild.
