It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Catherine E. Barnes in Quincy, Pennsylvania, born in Greencastle, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 27, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter P. Hoffman and Katie C. Hoffman (Roland); her husband Olen R. "Shorty" Barnes; her children, Tony Barnes, Becky Nunemaker and Jason Barnes; and her sister Anna Ruth Harris.
She is survived by: her children, Cindy Paris of North Carolina, Sue Easterday (Richard) of Hagerstown, MD and John Barnes (Missy) of Greencastle. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; nine step-grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; 11 step-great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren.
