It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Catherine Cordell (Quincy, Pennsylvania), born in Marion, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 29, 2019, at the age of 102, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Cleveland and Elsie Pearl Harmon Stumbaugh; her husband Harold L. "Jim" Cordell; her son Mark Alan Cordell; and her stepdaughter Saundra Feldman.
She is survived by: her children, Susan Rae Elliott (Kenneth) of Chambersburg, PA, Jessie Mae Horst (Gary) and Cathy Ann Scofield of Mont Alto, PA. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren; a sister, Gladys Leininger; and a sister-in-law.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Marion First United Methodist Church, 94 Colorado St., Marion, PA 17235.
