She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph H. McIntire and Thelma I. McIntire (Eighenbrode); and her husband Milton W. Garland. She is survived by: her brothers, Stanley E. McIntire and Donald W. McIntire; her nephew Ted Eighenbrode of Hedgesville, WV; and her niece Anne Wilson of Concord, NC..
