As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Evan may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Walter and Helen Walter (Henderson); his brother Monte; his nephew Monte Jr.; and his brother James Lewis (Richard Ferguson).
He is survived by: his wife Carol A. Walter (Shippey); his siblings, Rhelda (Thomas Hetrick) of East Freedom and Jan Walter of New Enterprise; his sisters-in-law, Anna Jean Ferguson and Mary Louise Lewis; and his adoptive son John Imler of Queen. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
