He was predeceased by: his wife Lorraine Frances Stephens (Adolph); his parents, Lewis P. Stephens and Eliza Anna Stephens (Nelson); and his sister Agnes Exner. He is survived by: his children, Joyce Galligan (John) of Forked River, NJ, Jean Colarusso (Bill) of Boyton Beach, FL, Joan Letham (Bob) of Bridgend, U. K., William Stephens (Wendy) of San Antonio, TX, Gail K. Stephens of Buchanan, VA and Thomas Stephens of Ramsey, MN.; and his close friend Lynda Frutchey. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, a sister-in-law.
