He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Carl Hiemenz and Patricia Hiemenz; his wife Dorinda Hiemenz; his children, Chad Hiemenz (Brandi), Cristi Peachey and Candice Gehman (Jason); his grandchildren, Isabelle, Shelby, Knox and Gage; and his siblings, B. Michael Hiemenz, Lisa Mallin and Carol Krieder.
