She was predeceased by: her husband Norman E. Brackbill; her parents, Benjamin F. Groff and Mary Anna Young Groff; and her children, David Brackbill and Susan Aukamp.
She is survived by: her children, Edward Brackbill (Deborah), Thomas Brackbill (Bonita), Kenneth Brackbill (Diane), Barry Brackbill (Gretchen) and Michael; and her siblings, Earl Groff (Shirley), Mary Lou Lightfoot (Robert), Linda Kepner and Dora Reese. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Ruth's honor to Kindred Hospice or the Alzheimers's Association.
