We are sad to announce that on November 3, 2024, at the age of 87, Roy E. Groff of Quarryville, Pennsylvania, born in Avondale, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy E. Groff and Ethel Scheuing Groff; and his stepdaughter Gail Stoltzfus. He is survived by: his wife Hilda Groff; his children, Roy E. III (Vicki Hollins Groff) of Willow Street, Donna L. Welk (Mark Dugan) of Christiana, Dee L. (Brian Fling) of Coatesville, Terry L. Groff (Janet Scott) of Downingtown, Jeff J. Groff of Lampeter, Bryan G. Groff of Philadelphia and Jennifer L. (Dennis Russell) of Coatesville; and his stepchildren, Dale (Carolyn Stoltzfus) of Coatesville, Carol (Mike Mghee) of Quarryville, Debbie (Charlie Wertz) of New Providence and Albert Stoltzfus of New Providence.
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, November 27th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the Georgetown Methodist Cemetery (1070 Georgetown Rd, Paradise, PA 17562).
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Reynolds & Shivery Funeral Home, 144 East State Street, Quarryville, PA 17566 to assist the family with funeral expenses.
