He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Franklin and Ethel Lewis Franklin; his son Keith A. Franklin; and his brothers, David Franklin and Theodore Franklin.
He is survived by: his wife Pauline "Bonnie" Farmer Franklin; and his sister Jane Bashore of Lebanon. He is also survived by his wife are 2 children; 2 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren.
