He was predeceased by: his wife Irene M. Burkey Rinier; his parents, Charles Rinier and Eva Scarborough Rinier; his son Robert D. Rinier; and his siblings, John Rinier, Harry Rinier and Mildred Cunningham.
He is survived by: his children, Ronald E. (Alfreda Pittman Mattia), Donald E. (Robin Clawges Rinier) of New Providence and Beverly A. Kaylor of Mt. Joy. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
