He was predeceased by: his parents, R. Charles Groff and Verdna L. Groff (Welk); his wife Mildred J. "Millie" Groff; his son-in-law Dale Enck; and his brothers, Jerre and Harry Groff.
He is survived by: his children, Carol Best (John) of Stewartstown, Joyce Graybill (Dale) of Mount Joy, Sharon Enck of Quarryville, Suzanne Rutt (Jeff) of Strasburg and Chuck Groff (Carol) of Quarryville. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 35 great grandchildren.
