He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Richard, Sr. and June Aument (Osman). He is survived by: his wife Lillian Marie Aument (Rhodes); his stepchildren, Robert Brazee (Brenda) of Airville, David Baker (Allissa) of Nottingham, Valerie Smith (Kevin) of Willow Street, Vicki Metzler (Christopher) of Peach Bottom, Peggy Arment (David) of Stevens and Melissa Sizemore (John) of Peach Bottom; his siblings, Paul Aument of Wrightsville, Jonell Stauffer (Leon) of Quarryville, Joyce Horning (Randy) of West Lampeter and Carol Kirkwood (George) of Lebanon; his sister-in-law Wanda Aument of Lancaster; and his stepmother Beverly Styer Aument of Quarryville. He is also survived by 13 step-grandchildren and 12 step-great-grandchildren.
