She was predeceased by: her spouse Thornton L. "T. L."; her parents, Lawrence Hicks and Lillian Mae Sullivan Hicks; and her sisters, Adra Jesburg and Janice Austin.
She is survived by: her children, Sandra (Edwin Grubbs) of Pfafftown, NC, Deborah (Donald Stoltzfus) of Christiana, PA, Paul (Sherri Fletcher) of Unionville, VA and Greg (Brenda Fletcher) of Spotsylvania, VA; and her brothers, William Hicks of Spotsylvania, VA, Ray Hicks of Chicago, IL, Milton "Pete" (Ruby Hicks) of Rhoadesville, VA and Larry (Judy Hicks) of Las Cruces, NM.. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, 1 great great granddaughter.
