With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James A. Murphy of Quarryville, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 23, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Aurel Murphy and Stella Murphy (Meyers); and his sisters, Elsie Lowery, Esther Myers, Grace Payne and Elizabeth Murphy.
He is survived by: his pet Sweetie; his children, Barbara Murphy and Michael Murphy; his stepdaughter Tracy Straub; his grandsons, David Ewing and Devon Murphy; and his great grandchild Angelina Murphy. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
