He was predeceased by: his parents, John "Jack" Zurenda and Anna Stavisky Zurenda (Staivisky); and his sisters, Olga Barker and Helen Breen. He is survived by: his wife Mary Jane E. Newlin Zurenda; his daughters, Sharon (Michael Scone) of Quarryville and Deb Zurenda of Glenville, PA; and his sister Elizabeth Brown of Cogan Station, PA..
