He is survived by: his children, Frankie Brooks, Katrina Mackin, Steven Brooks, Mark Brooks, Brian Brooks and Missy Brooks; his stepchildren, Kathy Hickman, Cindy Sheets, John Hickman and Douglas Hickman; his sisters, Della, Ellen, Helen, Ruth and Anna; and his friend Burying Ground. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren; great-great grandchildren.
