Handel (Quarryville, Pennsylvania), born in Marion, Virginia, who passed away on June 28, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Fred C. Handel; her parents, James V. Hash and Anna Ruth Gore Hash; her sons, Frank C. Handel and James S. Handel; her grandson Josh Handel; and her brothers, James V. Hash, Jr. and Avery Hash.
She is survived by: her children, Doyle S. Welk (Debra), Darrell A. Welk (Nancy) of New Providence, John E. Handel (Kerry) of Millersville and Catherine F. Hughes (Tom) of New Holland; and her sisters, Janet Martin and Joyce Martin (Harry) of Peach Bottom. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild.
