He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Nancy Jane Pickell Welk; his parents, Marian Romaine Rice Welk, Sr. and Laidlaw Trucking; his children, Rick Welk (Jake), Judy Kolessar, Monica Kolessar (Connie) and Joann Schorah (Ronney); his grandchildren, Nicole Schorah Scheld (Marc), Ronnie Schorah (Keri) and Katie Schorah Tribuani (Ryan); and his siblings, Violet L. Welk, Thelma E. Hodson (Thomas), Melvin L. Welk (Judy) and Barbara M. Graham. He was also cherished by 5 great grandchildren.
