He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Riehl and Emma Lapp Riehl; his wife Mary B. Stoltzfus Riehl; his son Elmer Riehl; and his sisters, Annie Beiler, Katie King, Mary Beiler, Fannie Ebersol and Susie Ebersol (Gideon Riehl).
He is survived by: his children, Anna Riehl of Quarryville, Jesse (Lydia Fisher Riehl) of Quarryville, Stevie Riehl of Quarryville, Melvin (Sarah King Riehl) of Quarryville and Barbie (Dan King); and his brother Jesse (Sara Ellen Riehl). He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren.
